Gown Rental Terms and Conditions
Please contact me if your desired gown/s is currently unavailable and you would like to make a future booking to secure your date.
Payment Terms and Rental Length
The return date for 3 day rentals is 3 overnights and 1 week rentals is 7 overnights. Please leave a note at checkout with your required by date and you will receive a return by date (lodge in the post by this date) when your booking is confirmed along with the bond invoice. Bookings are confirmed once the bond is paid.
The “hire fee” is in relation to your hire of products not including delivery or bond charges. In addition to the hire fee of your product, a bond is applicable to most gowns and refundable within 7 days of return of rental products. This time may be extended at the discretion of Bloom Maternity Gowns where there are extra laundering/ damage repairs to be made. You will be contacted and made aware of any delays.
Shipping Terms and Return Agreement
You agree to return your order on the specified return date. Pickup orders are due by 5pm Monday to Saturday and 4pm Sunday. Shipped orders must be lodged by the close of business by obtaining a lodgement receipt from Australia Post.
Shipping is charged at rates calculated at checkout dependent on the number of gowns hired and a return express label is included in the shipping fee, posted to you with your gowns. You can return the gowns in the same box or satchel provided by removing the old label and attaching the return label over the top. PLEASE SIGN THE DANGEROUS GOODS DECLARATION to allow for the shipment to travel by air.
You must get a lodgement receipt from the post office when returning your rental- in case of missing parcels you will be required to show proof of postage. Thus please ensure you lodge your shipment when the post office is open and do NOT put returns in street post boxes. If you have any issues with lodging your return please contact me. If your final day of rental falls on a weekend then your return by date will be on the next business day and you won't be charged for the extra day.
I post from Western Australia postcode 6285. You can check the express delivery timeframe on Australia Post's website here before placing your order. It usually takes 2-3 days express but some regional areas can take up to 7 days. Once your package has been shipped I will not take responsibility for delays in postage.
If for some reason Australia Post fails to deliver on time, please get in touch to arrange an extension if it is possible (it may be booked out by another client). If you have not allowed for reasonable shipping times, I won't be able to provide a refund. If your rental arrives late and an extension can't be provided, please post it back on the next business day and the bond will be refunded. You will receive a store credit for the rental which can be used within 12 months.
Cleaning
Gown laundering is included in your hire fee and you agree that no attempts will be made to clean, alter, iron/press garment/s (unless otherwise arranged). Bloom Maternity Gowns shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints associated with a product rented from our site. Our products have been worn by other consumers prior to your rental and we use sensitive laundry detergents. You will be provided with a condition report with the gown if there are any faults and the bond value is reduced accordingly at checkout.
Damaged/Soiled/Replacement Garment
You agree to treat our products like you would your own. You will treat the garment with the utmost of care. You agree not to remove any sewn in tags from the garment/s and will be charged the recommended retail price of the garment/s if any tags have been removed in any way.
If any garment is soiled, lost or damaged beyond repair then the bond will not be refundable.
If laundering beyond regular methods is required (stain removal/extreme soiling/specialist cleaning) then a fee will be taken from the bond to cover this. You will be informed of any extra cleaning charges.
Late Fee Policy
If you return your item(s) late you will incur a thirty dollar ($30.00) per item late fee for every day you are late up to 100% of the retail value of the dress as indicated on our website. Charges will be taken from the bond paid and you will be invoiced for any outstanding amount. Non payment of fees will result in you being disabled from the use of our hire service. Please get in touch if you will be ending your dress back late for any reason.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your rental order subject to the following cancellation fees and policies:
i. Cancellation fourteen (14) or more days in advance of the delivery date, there is no cancellation fee and you will receive a refund issued to the payment method you used for the order, minus admin and banking fees of $5 if you paid by card/paypal/deposit and $10 if you paid by afterpay/zippay.
ii. If you cancel less than fourteen (14) days in advance of the delivery date, your bond will be refunded issued to the payment method you used for the order. You will receive a credit note for the hire fee associated with the cancelled order. This credit can be applied to any future hires placed within 12 months of the cancellation date.
Credit Notes
One credit note only can be applied per order. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Orders placed using credit notes are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for another credit note.
Terms And Conditions / Hire Agreement / Emailing
By accessing and purchasing a rental gown from Bloom Maternity Gowns you are accepting and consenting to the practices in these terms of use. Bloom Maternity Gowns reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
These Terms of Use constitute a binding legal contract between you and Bloom Maternity Gowns. You will be taken to have accepted The Terms of Use by accessing or using the Website.
You agree that you are renting products and ownership of the product remains with Bloom Maternity Gowns at all times. By checking out via the website you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen method of payment with the purpose of renting the products on the order.
We will use the information from your order to send you email marketing on occasion. We don’t however pass on any of your detail including your email address to any other companies or corporations. You may opt out of receiving those emails by emailing info@bloommaternitygowns.com.au
Bloom Maternity Gowns reserves the right to terminate your right to rent products from us at any time at our own discretion should you breach this agreement or for any other reason.
